Mary Magdalene was the first witness to the resurrection of Jesus, and Phoebe was a deaconess in the early church. He spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well, healed the woman with the issue of blood, and defended the woman caught in adultery.

- Fact: While the Bible acknowledges gender differences, it also affirms the equal value and worth of men and women. Galatians 3:28 states, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

- Fact: While there are passages that address the roles of men and women in the church, women were actively involved in ministry in the early church. Phoebe was a deaconess, and Priscilla and her husband Aquila taught Apollos about the way of God more accurately (Acts 18:26).
- Myth: Women were responsible for the fall of humanity.
- Fact: While Eve was the first to eat the forbidden fruit, Adam also disobeyed God's command. Romans 5:12 states, "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned."
God’s Heart for Women
God's treatment of women in the Bible reflects His heart and character. He created men and women in His image and affirms their equal value and worth. He used women to accomplish His purposes and treated them with dignity and respect. As followers of Christ, we are called to imitate God's heart for women by treating them with love, honor, and respect.
